VizAfrica 2018 provides a visualization-focused forum for visualization and graphics practitioners, welcoming all areas of visualization research: data, information, scientific visualization, and visual analytics. VizAfrica 2018 will also include a PRE-CONFERENCE TRAINING that will take place from 13th-17th of August 2018.
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research and practical applications in all areas of visualization including those involving mixing of visualization and graphics, and cutting-edge techniques for big data visualization. All submitted papers will go through a review process. All papers accepted by VizAfrica 2018 Symposium on Visualization will be documented in Viz Africa website and published in the iCEOD Digital Library.
Selected research papers of outstanding quality will be invited to submit an extended version to the Data Science Journal of CODATA (http://www.codata.org/publications/data-science-journal) or Journal of Advanced Simulation in Science and Engineering ( http://www.jsst.jp/j/jasse/ ) or Journal of Visualization ( http://www.springer.com/engineering/mechanics/journal/12650 ).
